Rover ants

You've probably seen them "roving" around...rover ants! These tiny ants are some of the cutest you can find in Texas and are the only ants here that have 9 segmented antennae.

I'm an entomologist with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, based out of Austin, Texas. I conduct educational program, research, and demonstration projects on urban and structural insects, working with a variety of audiences.
